Dear #flyswiss followers, dear guests, it’s a pleasure to welcome you on board on this flight through the month of April and to show you my world as the Instagrammer of the Month on Instagram @flyswiss.
Let me introduce myself first: My name is Nina, I’m 33 years old and I was born and raised in Constance, a wonderful city in Germany close to the border of Switzerland and directly at Lake Constance.
Back when I was a child I loved to be at the airport and watch aircraft take-off and land. I think I could have done this for hours!
After I’ve finished university seven years ago, I applied for SWISS and my childhood dream became true: I had the chance to become a flight attendant, experience the lifestyle of travelling the world, explore new countries and meet new cultures. About five years ago, I decided to take a next career step and become a purser or Maître de Cabine Europe (“M/C EU”) as we call this position here at SWISS and with every new cabin crew I get to lead, I’m still very happy with my decision.
This month it will be my honour to show you the life of a SWISS M/C from my point of view. I will show you the different tasks that are my duty and what makes my job so special for me. Make sure that your seatbelts are fastened and the window blinds are open before we start our journey together.
