Instagramer of the month in August

Read in: Deutsch

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Hello and welcome on board!

I am delighted to have the pleasure of your company on my August rotations all over the world, to give you some insight into my everyday life as a Flight Attendant. But before we take off together, I would like to quickly introduce myself.

My name is Anna Häberli and I am 20 years old. I live in a country village close to the airport. I applied to join SWISS immediately after completing my school leaving certificate, have now been working as a Flight Attendant for almost two years and still love my job as much as ever! I get to know new and interesting people and cultures every day. It is certainly never boring. Along with my work on-board the aircraft, I also have the opportunity to travel through many new countries. Can anyone else claim to do as much?

Now I bet you want to know how I came up with such a fabulous job.

I always knew that I wasn’t going to go straight to university when I finished school. First I wanted to see the world and broaden my horizons. As my father was also working for SWISS on the ground, it quickly became clear that a job as a Flight Attendant would enable me to do exactly that.

I was even happier when my mother also decided to apply to SWISS to be a Flight Attendant at the same time. Now you often see us together, which isn’t just tremendous fun for us, the crew and passengers also find it highly amusing.

But don’t let me keep you any longer. Are you ready to spend August flying with me this summer?

Then fasten your seat belts, we are now ready for take-off!

Yours, Anna

  1. Beautiful quoted

  2. Congratulations on working for SWISS for almost 2 years. You shared a wonderful story. I envy you. I unfortunately did not choose the career as you, over 40 years ago! (my mother was afraid to fly and discouraged it 🙁 ) My grandparents Kälin and Reichmuth were Swiss and came to the US from Einsiedeln in the early 1900’s. I reconnected with my family there in 2011 and visit them yearly via SWISS. I love SWISS. This September, I will take a friend with me to CH rt from SFO. It will be her first time there and we are both excited as we travel well together in our young early 60s! Maybe you will be on our flight and we will meet! I will look you up in Instagram. Best of luck to you.
