Dear @flyswiss Followers, passengers and SWISS family,
Grüezi and welcome!
My name is Brandon B. Josenhans, and I live close to Lake Zurich. Well, that’s the theory, anyway. In reality however, my home is SWISS and the world.
It’s my honour to fly through December 2017 with you as “Instagramer of the month”.
Our flight time is 31 days.
Before we are cleared for take-off, let me just tell you a little bit about myself.
Aviation has been part of my life and of who I am from the beginning. When I was still a small child, I flew between South American and the Caribbean twice a week as an UM. I realised at a very young age that I had caught the aviation bug.
After my final school exams at the Kantonsschule Küsnacht I applied to join SWISS as a Cabin Crew Member, and I’ve now been a part of the SWISS family for over a year. I travel on all our Airbus aircraft (319, 320, 321, 330 and 340).
So far I have spent 749 hours in the air, working with my colleagues to ensure the safety of our many thousands of passengers from all over the world.
Every single one of these passengers has their own story, and that is what makes this job so exciting.
Being able to explore lots of different countries is a tremendous privilege, especially at such a young age. Experiencing the cultures and mentalities, how way people live in these countries, and learning about the different characters, is definitely part of the school of life, and certainly extends your horizons. This is something I am extremely grateful for.
December is always a very special month, and it gives us, together with the #flyswiss family even more pleasure to enrich our guests’ journeys to their loved ones and make them memorable.
Over the course of the month, you could be flying with me on short-haul within Europe and long-haul on the transatlantic route, both in Business Class and in Economy. And if you do happen to see me, please say “Hello!” – we could even take a photo together as a souvenir!
And now I’d like to ask you to follow @flyswiss on Instagram, to “fasten your seat belts, please” and to enjoy the flight through the last month of this year.
Take care, and see you soon on board!
